Director, Program Management

Reporting directly to the General Manager of Crestview Aerospace as a member of the Senior Leadership Team. Directs all phases of programs from inception through completion. Responsible for the cost, schedule and technical performance of company programs or subsystems of major programs. Participates in the negotiation of contract and contract changes. Coordinates the preparation of proposals, business plans, proposal work statements and specifications, operating budgets and financial terms/conditions of contract. Acts as primary customer contact for program activities, leading program review sessions with customer to discuss cost, schedule, and technical performance. Establishes design concepts, criteria and engineering efforts for product research, development, integration and test. Develops new business or expands the product line with the stakeholders. Establishes milestones and monitors adherence to master plans and schedules, identifies program problems and obtains solutions, such as allocation of resources or changing contractual specifications. Directs the work of employees assigned to the program from technical, manufacturing, commercial, and/or administrative areas.
Responsible for the overall direction, coordination, development, advancement, and financial success of externally and internally funded programs, operating within boundaries of negotiated cost, schedule and technical requirements to meet all site, sector and division requirements. Provides overall leadership and management of the Program Management organization, including the establishment, maintenance, training, and adherence of processes and standards to ensure performance. Participates in the establishment and implementation of company strategy. Oversees the development of program execution plans
Formulate and execute strategy in alignment with company priorities. As a member of the senior leadership team, makes decisions, manages risk and influence activities that affect the long-term viability of the company. Drives growth the leader of Program Management in collaboration with business development resources. Manage existing customer relationships and help grow new ones. Engage with customer and partner stakeholders to drive performance and support growth opportunities.
Bachelor's Degree in related business or technical discipline with a MBA or advanced degree preferred.
Minimum of 15 years relevant experience supporting both DoD and commercial programs, with a minimum of 10 years program management experience, with emphasis on customer interaction, program control and execution. Minimum of 5 years leading the Program Management function in an organization.
Demonstrated ability to work successfully with demanding customers, difficult schedules and technically challenging projects.
Excellent presentation skills, with the ability to clearly and competently convey program objectives and priorities to the program team and the organization.
Very strong interpersonal, written and oral communication skills with the ability to influence and motivate others.
Prefer Experience in Lean/Six Sigma Continuous Improvement environment.
Working knowledge of AS9100 and CMMI.
Physical Requirements:
Will work in a manufacturing/assembly environment.
May work in the following environmental conditions:
noise, vibration, proximity to
moving mechanical parts, moving vehicles, electrical current. Must be able to
bend and reach. Must have close visual acuity such as viewing a computer
terminal, extensive reading, visual inspection involving small defects or parts,
and/or operation of machines and/or assembly of fabricated parts at close distance to the eyes. Must be able to maneuver up to 20 pounds Will be performing substantial movements (motions) of the wrists, hands or fingers.

The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
