The FDC oversees supervising over 250,000 inmates and offenders in Florida.
Currently the FDC is looking for highly motivated individuals to fill the ranks.
With no experience, necessary the FDC will pay for the training required by the Florida Department of Law Enforcement (FDLE) You will be overseeing and monitoring the activities of the inmates in living areas, recreation activities areas, dining areas and visitation areas.
You will be coordinating and monitoring inmate movements, conducting counts and providing emergency response as needed.
No Experience Required; FDC will pay YOU to Train for YOUR Correctional Officer Certification Minimum
Qualifications:
-18 years' old -High School Graduate or equivalent -Valid Driver's License -No Felony Convictions Starting Salary $22 per hour
$30,000 In Benefits (Starting July 1, 2023) PAY ADDITITIVES Criminal Justice Incentive Pay Maximum $130 month Uniform/Shoe Allowance - $325 Annually BENEFITS Leave:
Annual Leave - 104 hours a year Sick Leave - 104 hours a year 10 Holidays a year Military Leave - 240 hours each federal fiscal year Health Insurance Biweekly Premium:
